The Birth of Curry & Craft

Curry & Craft was started by two people with a healthy obsession for both great curry, and delicious beer.  After sampling almost every Indian restaurant in Cape Town, they decided to create a space that filled the gap between fine-dining Indian restaurants and cafeteria style establishments. Ask any household where good curry is made and they’ll tell you that Indian food is about celebration, family, bringing people together and having a fun time with it. Actually; that’s also exactly what beerhouses are about – and so Curry & Craft came about.

“We went to Curry and Craft for the first time last night and were blown away by the food. I had the Thali - a selection of 3 curries, served with sides, rice and a roti. The best part of the dish was that I couldn't even decide which curry was my favourite - all 3 were incredibly flavourful, and I would order each as a main dish. On top of that, Curry and Craft's prices are affordable, and they have amazing lunch and happy hour specials. I'll definitely be back, and I've told all of my colleagues to visit too!”
